Product Description
Rooted in Mexican and Latin American traditions, requinto guitars are smaller versions of the classical guitar with a shorter scale length and a notably deeper body depth. Our Requinto Series guitars don’t seem to be only suitable for TrÃo romántico groups and traditional folk music but are also great instruments for acoustic performances, where amplification isn’t conceivable, as they’re much louder than a traditional small body guitar.
From the Manufacturer
Ortega breaks barriers without losing focus on the basics of classical guitar making. All the time conscious of the deep traditions of guitar construction, we don’t seem to be afraid to apply up to date processes with a view to beef up the playing experience. Two-way truss rods, 12-hole bridges, and all kinds of scale lengths and nut widths are just one of the vital ways Ortega is moving guitar building forward with a view to make a better instrument for you.
